Dr. Jamal Nabhani
Co-Founder
Dr. Jamal Nabhani is a board-certified urologist, Assistant Professor of Clinical Urology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, and a leader in advancing the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. He serves as Assistant Dean for Clinical Administration at Los Angeles General Medical Center and has extensive experience in clinical care, surgical urology, health services research, and healthcare system innovation.
Dr. Nabhani completed his medical training at Boston University, his urology residency at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California (LAC+USC) Medical Center, and a fellowship in Health Services Research through the University of California, Los Angeles / Veterans Affairs National Clinician Scholars Program (UCLA/VA). He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading medical and urologic journals, including The Journal of Urology, European Urology, The Lancet, Surgery, and Current Opinion in Urology. His research has focused on healthcare delivery, health disparities, patient engagement, surgical outcomes, and innovative approaches to improving the quality and value of care.
Dr. Nabhani has also been at the forefront of exploring the role of artificial intelligence in urology. His research includes evaluating AI-generated health information for patients and examining the emerging applications of AI in outpatient urology, including its potential to improve clinical workflows and reduce administrative burden.
As both a practicing urologist and healthcare systems leader, Dr. Nabhani brings a unique perspective on clinical workflow, physician needs, and the responsible adoption of technology.
