The founder story
Built to bridge the divide between medical innovation and everyday clinical work.
OneLine began with a shared conviction among clinical pioneers and technology innovators: the sophistication of modern medicine should extend to the work surrounding every patient visit.
OneLine Health was founded by internationally recognized clinical pioneers and technology innovators who saw a striking contradiction at the front lines of medicine. In state-of-the-art operating rooms, its founders were using some of the world’s most sophisticated medical technologies—from robotic surgery to molecular imaging. Yet in the outpatient clinic, those same physicians were constrained by fragmented medical records, manual chart review, and antiquated documentation tools.
Led by Dr. Inderbir Gill—a world-renowned surgical innovator named to the 2026 TIME100 Health list—alongside entrepreneur and healthcare technology innovator Karan Gill and prominent USC urologist and clinical leader Dr. Jamal Nabhani, OneLine Health was built to bridge this divide.
That origin continues to shape OneLine today: patient information is brought together across systems, administrative work is automated, and intelligent support extends before, during, and after the encounter while the physician remains in control of the final clinical work.
1
Start with the workflow
Design around the real sequence of preparation, encounter, review, and follow-through.
2
Connect the patient story
Bring relevant information forward instead of asking care teams to reconstruct it repeatedly.
3
Protect the human moment
Keep physician judgment central while technology manages more of the surrounding work.
